MSLF 2023 - Raqs o MAusiqi 

The festival celebrates the rich musical and dance traditions of Awadh, a land that birthed thumri, khyaal, Kathak, sozkhwani, marsiyakhwani, and nurtured instruments like the tabla, sitar, sarangi, and ghazals. Known for its poets, musicians, and patrons, Awadh’s cultural legacy spans qawwalis at dargahs, bhajans in temples, mujras in mansions, folk music, and grand operas. The festival will feature traditional performances, experiential exhibitions, panel discussions, workshops, storytelling sessions, films, and art installations, aiming to document and revive Awadh’s artistic heritage.
