MSLF 2018 - Francisi Awadhi Taluqqat

MSLF 2018 celebrates the theme “Francisi Awadhi Ta’alluqaat” (The French Connection with Awadh), highlighting the cultural exchange between France and Awadh through architecture, art, craft, literature, and performing arts. The festival brings rare 18th-century paintings, lectures by historians, French films, jazz performances, heritage tours, and French cuisine to showcase this shared legacy. Using oral, visual, and experiential storytelling, MSLF continues its tradition of exploring historically significant themes that celebrate Lucknow’s pluralistic and inclusive heritage.
