Qissa Goi: Stories from Fida - e - Lucknow With the Authors Parveen Talha & Sabiha Anwar
Parveen Talha is an Indian civil servant, author and cultural ambassador of Lucknow, awarded the Padma Shri for her distinguished career in the civil services. She will share excerpts from her book and anecdotes of Lucknow.
Dr. Sabiha Anwar is a known Urdu writer and educationist. She has served as the Principal of Karamat Husain Muslim Girls P.G. College for 12 years and the head of Urdu Department of the same institution for 28 years. She has published two collections of short stories and books on literary criticism.

Bait Baazi is a verbal game and a genre of Urdu poetry played by composing verses of Urdu poems. Much like Antakshari, Bait baazi is a recitation of shers in response to couplets recited by the opposite team.

Qissa Goi: Reha'ish in Awadh Homes Masroor Jahan in Conversation with Saira Mujtaba
Masroor Jahan is an Urdu novelist, hugely popular for her woman-oriented writings. Her grand daughter Saira Mujtaba is a filmmaker and a television presenter for Doordarshan.
Day 5: Tuesday, 7th February, 5:00 p.m. (Main Chabutra, Baradari)
Qissa Goi: "Ghar Aangan" Reha'ish in Awadh Homes Naseem Iqtidar Ali & Sabiha Anwar
Naseem Iqtidar Ali is a social worker, a litterateur who epitomizes Lucknawi nafasat and adab. Dr. Sabiha Anwar is a known Urdu writer, educationist and a Lucknawi institution by herself.
