-Awadhi Home Cooked Food Festival is the most eagerly awaited afternoon for the foodies and lovers of Awadhi cuisine. The delectable delicacies on the menu this year include the old favourites like Lal Mirch ka Qeema, Roasted Raan, Mutton ki Nihari, Pasanda, Adraki Ghosht, Sarson ki Machli, Shab-degh, and regional specialties like Sarson Ka Saag, Makke ki Pitti, Marwari Thali, Bundeli Kachauri sabzi among others. For the sweet-toothed, there are delicious delights like Palak ka Halwa, Imarti, Channe ka Halwa, and Shahi Tukda.

The entire menu of the food festival is cooked up with love and traditional recipes of families of Lucknow. Food Festival

All the famous street food vendors of the city have their stalls, like Rahim's Kulcha Nahari, Tundey Gilawat Kebabs, Aslam's Kakori Kebabs, Ravi Chaatwalla with pani batashas with 9 different flavours from Chowk, Brij Bihari Kufii, Nimish and Kesar Milk, Chotu Nankhatayi walla , Khoya ki Khutiya, and Churan.

Mughal Shugal, Bundeli Apni Rasoi, Supriya's Home Cooked Bengali, Tamilian Dosa, Idli, Vada and Rekha's Maharashtrian all have their distinctive flavours. Awadhi Bawarchikhana has Shaami Kebab, Biryani, Kadhai Gosht, Aloo Gosht, and Khade Masala ka keema amongst other dishes.
